Eddy covariance measurements of carbon, water and energy fluxes acquired in the CarboItaly sites network are avaialble through this database in standardized format. The data are quality controlled using reference methodologies.

Project overview

CARBOITALY is and Italian project funded by the Italian Minister of University and Research (FISR project) with the aim to develop a system to quantify and predict absorption of greenhouse gases by terrestrial ecosystems

The project is structured in five main research lines:

1. measurement of CO₂ fluxes in terrestrial ecosystems;

2. regionalization;

3. building and experimental testing of a predicting system;

4. measurement and modeling of non-CO₂ trace greenhouse gases fluxes;

5. scenarios and politics.
